What is Make Me?
Make Me makes you move before you scroll. You set one small thing — a workout, a few pages, a minute of gratitude — and the apps you'd reach for stay shut until you've done it.
The idea
You set one small thing — a workout, a few pages, a minute of gratitude. Until you've actually done it, the apps you'd otherwise reach for stay shut. Move first, scroll second. The decision's made up front, so there's nothing to argue about in the moment.
Why not just willpower?
Because willpower fades by the afternoon, and the apps pulling at you were designed by people counting on exactly that. A system doesn't need you to feel like it. Make Me redirects the pull your phone already has — same machinery, better target — so following through stops depending on how you happen to feel.
What it isn't
There's no score to chase and no coach in your ear. The tone is "make me" — a bit defiant, never a guilt trip. It asks one thing of you, then leaves you alone.
Who it's for
People who already know what they want their phone to be, and want something that holds them to it — so following through stops being a thing they have to remember to do.
